Music Together of Northern Arizona is currently operated as a service to the community, while maintaining a license to teach the curriculum and Music Together program with Music Together Worldwide.
As such, refund policy is set in order to minimize overhead so that the program can continue to run.
Here are some things to know about Music Together of Northern Arizona’s refund policy:
1. You are welcome to request a refund at anytime before you have attended your first class with us.
2. If you purchase an enrollment option that includes the current semester’s music collection, your enrollment covers costs that include not only the space rental but also the materials and services provided in support of the music, the app, the Family Music Zone, licensing, illustrated songbook etc. After the songbooks are shipped, families who have enrolled in a package that includes materials and songbook cannot be refunded for this reason.
3. Class enrollment is capped at 12 per Music Together licensing requirements, and needs to meet a minimum enrollment of 5 in order to run the semester’s weekly class time. Due to these requirements and costs, all enrollments have now moved to a “class credit” system in 2024. Class days, times, and locations, if they are subject to change based on enrollment, are described on enrollment pages on the website as “subject to change” with as much information provided about what the potential changes may be, so as to ensure that families understand if class times or days or locations may be subject to change. After class times are changed and a semester progresses, these enrollment pages are edited to keep the information as simple as possible for new enrollments. As families are purchasing packages of class credits, which are not exclusively tied to attendance on specific dates, if classes change times or dates significantly, families may have the 6 month expiration on their class credit purchase waived, so as to ensure that if the weekly schedule of classes does not work for them for an entire semester, they can come to class in a later semester. “Significant” class time and location changes include changes that alter class availability due to location change of 5+ miles or cancel a class availability for a specific day of the week with no other class options provided within 4 hours or the originally scheduled class. Class credits can be redeemed to attend any class offered by Music Together of Northern Arizona, and families who need to extend their class credit’s expiration date can contact Laura at NAZMusicTogether@gmail.com to request the expiration date’s extension at any time.
